Norton 360
I believe now the “360″ stands for how many ways Norton will screw you.
I had Norton 2007, got a virus, upgraded a year or so ago to Norton 360, got a virus. Now it’s time for my subscription renewal so what does Norton do. SPAMS me beyond comprehension “reminding” me to renew then when the renewal date is up what happens? They shut the fucking program off until I renew it for $70 a year, no thanks. The old Norton, not that it mattered, at least let you run scans and have protection running but blocked you from getting new virus definitions until you renewed, apparently, not anymore. I just got another low risk virus from somewhere and went to run a Norton scan and couldn’t. Thanks for leaving me hanging out to dry yet again Norton. You can now proceed to Fuck Off as I’ll never use any of the Symantec products again.
